About Little Luna

Hi, I'm Gemma, the person behind Little Luna Knits 👋🏻

I'm a mum of two, a 3 year old called Poppy and a 2 year old called Max. They were born just 14 months apart, and have just about got to the age where sleep is possible again (touch wood!!). I married my lovely husband Knight in 2021, and although he can't crochet, he is my post man and has been known to dash out at 8pm to get me new crochet hooks when I've broken my favourite ones 🤣

When I'm not being mummy you'll find me crocheting, listening to true crime podcasts or wishing I was living in a cosy wooden hut in the woods.

Little Luna Knits was born from my love of creating things, and not being able to relax. People sometimes ask where the name came from and it came purely from of my love of the moon (la luna) 🌙

I'm passionate about breathing new life into preloved items, so most of the items you see will be excellent quality items I've sourced second hand that don't show obvious signs of wear. This also enables me to keep my costs down, which is a benefit I then pass on to you! Second hand doesn't mean second best!

As well as doing what I call "one off" or "ready to post" knits, I do take custom orders. Although at busy times of the year, I do have to limit how many I do to make sure all knits are finished to the standard I'm happy with for my customers.
