Custom Knit Deposit - 1 per person

What is it?

This is to purchase a Custom Knit Slot Deposit which will reserve 1 custom knit slot for you. Only one slot per person please. The £20 deposit amount will be deducted from the total balance. Discount codes are not redeemable against custom knits.

How does it work?

Following your slot deposit purchase when I am ready to start designing, we will have a conservation to discuss your design idea. You will either need to send me the knitwear you'd like your custom design on, or purchase a handknit from me. Once I have confirmed your idea and I have provided a quote/mock up, I will get to work and create your item. When your knit is ready, I will send you some photos, upload it to my website and send you the link to purchase it for the amount remaining. From there it will be packaged and posted to you via Evri or Royal Mail.

 

Design Pricing:

The £20 you pay for your deposit will be deducted from the total price. The total price of your item will be provided before I start work on your knit. Below is an idea of pricing:

£40-60 - Simpler designs with minimal wording and/or less design elements

£60-£80 - Larger simple designs with moderate wording/design elements

£80-£100 - Intricate/large designs with specific characters and/or heavy decoration

£100+ - Extravagantly detailed two sided designs, designs with multiple specific characters etc

Stars and small enhancements will be included on all designs where suited.

Due to the amount of time and attention I have to give to them to ensure a good likeness, character designs will be priced accordingly.

Other info:

Whilst I am happy to take inspiration from other designs you have seen, I will not knowingly copy a design by another maker as I don't believe that's good practice :)

This service is for children's knitwear only unless otherwise discussed.

Please note, my turnaround time is currently 4-8 weeks. If you have an urgent order (birthday for example) please let me know as I can usually prioritise orders if needs be.

Purchase of a deposit is non refundable and I reserve the right to archive your order if I receive no contact from you as I don't have the capacity to repeatedly chase up unfortunately.

 

Recommended knitwear:

Generally plain knits work best without heavy cabling, fibrous yarns (mohair, cashmere) or bulky textures as they don't work very well for crochet applique. For examples, please see my Instagram for knits I've worked on previously.
