Hi, I'm Gemma, the person behind Little Luna Knits 👋🏻

I'm a mum of two, a 4 year old called Poppy and a 3 year old called Max. They were born just 14 months apart, and are absolutely brilliant.

I married my husband Knight in 2021, and although he can't crochet, he is my post man and has been known to dash out at 8pm to get me new crochet hooks when I've broken my favourite ones.

When I'm not being mummy you'll find me crocheting, listening to true crime podcasts, walking Obie our Golden Retriever, or wishing I was living near the seaside. I also work in finance in the aerospace industry, although I admit I'm not very good with numbers haha!

Little Luna Knits was born from my love of creating things, and not being able to relax. People sometimes ask where the name came from and it came purely from my love of the moon (la luna) 🌙. I also have the "I can do that myself" gene, so I've started many many creative projects over the years, but crochet has stuck!

Some interesting things about me:

• I love anything to do with Japan, and I have a collection of Japanese themed tattoos
• I'm a Scorpio (I don't believe in horoscopes though- sorry!)
• I'm a big fan of anything to do with Space 🚀 (outer, but also personal 🤣)
